Shenandoah Conservatory is seeking nominations and applications for an exceptional music therapy teacher and practitioner. This one-year visiting position, housed within the Conservatory Academics Division, begins August 2025. It is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, VA.
Established in 1974, the program has been a leader in the field and aims to be Virginia’s premier and progressive music therapy education and training center. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates, with a focus on innovative, forward-oriented curricula. Students engage in hands-on clinical experiences, comprehensive coursework in musicianship, and interdisciplinary learning through IPE and IPP. The program also offers Virginia’s first Masters in Music Therapy and Professional Counseling, enabling dual Board Certification (MT-BC) and LPC credentials.
