You will guide projects across technical research, policy analysis and software tooling for AI cyber capability evaluations.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, governance, and collaboration with senior stakeholders, with a three‑year term and hybrid work options in multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Technical security background across security engineering, software engineering, firmware/hardware fields
• Management experience leading cross‑functional teams and budgets
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects to completion
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C/C++, or similar languages
• Ability to develop rigorous threat models and identify vulnerabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences
• Ability to reason about policy options given technical context
• Collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team player
• Fluency with MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects spanning technical research, policy analysis and infrastructure development
• Develop AI security threat models and evaluation tools
• Produce quick‑turnaround policy briefs and detailed research reports
• Communicate results to senior government and industry leaders
• Mentor team members and manage project budgets
