Job summary

CFSS is seeking a Visitation Aide in Arizona to coordinate and supervise family visitations, transport families, and support positive relationships as part of reunification efforts.

You will also educate parents on accessing emergency assistance and community resources, assist with home management goals, and document all services. Afternoon/evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet driving and transportation requirements.
• Background checks and driver’s record may be reviewed.

• Foster positive family relations.
• Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.

Visitation Aides works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.

Visitation Aide Job Responsibilities:

• Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care.

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county and working within communities of the families we support is required.

Visitation Aide Education/Experience Needed:

• High school diploma or GED

Visitation Aide Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
• Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration
• Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
