Child & Family Support Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Visitation Aide in Phoenix to support families reunifying with their children in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety.

The role emphasizes compassion, adaptability, and reliable scheduling in afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You will arrange, transport and supervise visitations, foster positive family relations, and help families access community resources and parenting education while documenting services and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years or older and possess a valid AZ driver's license.
• Ability to pass drug testing and obtain required clearances.
• Background checks and CPR/First Aid training may be required.

Responsabilités

• Arrange, transport and supervise visitations between children in care.

Visitation Aides works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.

Visitation Aide Job Responsibilities

• Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care.
• Foster positive family relations.
• Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.
• Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, support, and community resources.
• Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
• Documenting all services appropriately.
• Performing other duties related to the position

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county and working within communities of the families we support is required.

Education/Experience Needed

• High school diploma or GED

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
• Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration
• Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
