Child & Family Support Services in Phoenix seeks a Visitation Aide to support families in reunification efforts with the AZ Department of Child Safety. The role requires afternoon, evening, and weekend hours, driving throughout the county, and collaboration with families to strengthen bonds.

No experience required; high school diploma and valid driver’s license are needed. Training is provided, and CFSS emphasizes a mission-driven culture with opportunities to grow.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration.
• Candidates must submit a negative drug test.
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect.
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training.

Visitation Aides works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.

Visitation Aide Job Responsibilities:

• Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care.
• Foster positive family relations.
• Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.
• Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, support, and community resources.
• Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
• Documenting all services appropriately.
• Performing other duties related to the position

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county and working within communities of the families we support is required.

Visitation Aide Education/Experience Needed:

• High school diploma or GED

Visitation Aide Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
• Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration
• Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
