Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration.
• Candidates must submit a negative drug test.
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect.
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, transport and supervise visitations between children in out‑of‑home care.
• Foster positive family relations.
• Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.
• Educate parents on how to access emergency assistance, support, and community resources.
• Assist families with goal setting, planning, and home management tasks.
