Job summary

Ozarks Regional YMCA in Springfield, MO seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to guide the association’s strategic direction, fundraising, and operations across multiple branches. The CEO will partner with the board, staff, and community to strengthen programs, expand childcare and youth initiatives, and ensure fiscal health while upholding YMCA values.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to child safety and community well‑being.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college is preferred.
Equivalent professional experience is required.
Experience working across multiple locations and sites is preferred.
Demonstrated fiscal management expertise, with a proven track record of overseeing annual budgets of $8 million or more.
At least five years of senior management experience within a YMCA or a comparable organization, including direct supervision of staff across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of a strategic plan addressing community needs.
Oversee annual budgets, fundraising strategies, and financial sustainability.
Build partnerships with volunteers, donors, and community leaders.
Develop and empower a diverse, high‑performing leadership team.
Represent the YMCA with integrity and advance its mission and values.
