Job summary

Supportworks, based in Omaha, NE, seeks a Vice President of Engineering & Manufacturing to guide our structural, geotechnical and manufacturing teams. This role focuses on turning ideas into products and improving processes that impact contractors and customers.

The position requires an experienced engineering leader who builds teams, solves complex problems, and translates technical expertise into business results. It is an in-office role with a culture of growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years in structural or geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Experience leading engineering teams and driving accountability.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor; knowledge of steel and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing engineering and manufacturing team.
• Set goals, provide mentorship, and align team with company goals.
• Collaborate on researching, evaluating, and launching new products.
• Partner with locations to maintain product quality and cost control.
• Provide technical expertise to internal teams and customers.
• Lead strategy for commercial sales and KPI delivery.
