Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Nevada seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead a growing nonprofit across multiple sites, guiding mission-driven youth development, recreation and community wellness. The CEO will partner with the board, staff, volunteers and community stakeholders to secure long-term financial sustainability and expand facilities.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong fundraising and program growth experience, and a proven track record in capital project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit or comparable organization.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors.
• Proven success in strategic planning, fiscal management, fundraising, grant management, capital project oversight, and membership growth.
• Strong programmatic background and demonstrated leadership experience in aquatics, sports, fitness, childcare, and school‑age programming.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Vision – guide long-term direction for the organization.
• Board Relations & Governance – collaborate with Board to ensure governance and accountability.
• Fiscal Management – oversight of budgets, financial sustainability, and reporting.
• Fundraising & Resource Development – lead fundraising campaigns and donor relations.
• Grant & Foundation Development and Management – secure and manage grants.
• Operations & Program Oversight – ensure effective delivery across sites.
• Staff Development – grow talent and leadership within the team.
• Community Development & Leadership – strengthen community partnerships and impact.
• Community Engagement & Partnerships – expand outreach and stakeholder engagement.
• Membership Development & Engagement – grow youth and family participation.
• Risk Management & Compliance – uphold governance and regulatory standards.
• Facility Development & Maintenance – oversee capital projects and facilities.
