Responsibilities

• Define aims, scope and formats for the journal to attract broad appeal.
• Draw on leading researchers to secure world‑class submissions.
• Travel extensively to engage with the research community and conferences.
• Recruit and manage in-house editorial team members.
• Coordinate rigorous evaluation of submissions to ensure high quality research.
• Develop and foster partnerships with other editorial teams and internal departments.
• Contribute to the overall publishing strategy of Cell Press.
