Cell Press is recruiting an Editor in Chief for the journal Device. The role leads the editorial team, shapes the journal's scope and formats, and ensures high-quality submissions across disciplines. The position offers flexibility on location with offices worldwide and a strong focus on global engagement.

The Editor in Chief will guide strategy, attract world‑leading research, and represent the journal to authors, readers, and reviewers on a global scale.

Formación

• Proven editorial leadership and vision for a leading journal.
• Ability to manage diverse teams and complex submissions workflows.
• Strong network of international researchers and institutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define aims, scope, priorities, and formats to keep Device impactful and widely appealing.
• Lead the in-house editorial team and oversee rigorous manuscript evaluation.
• Engage with global researchers to attract high-quality submissions.
• Travel to engage with the research community and build networks.
• Develop partnerships with Cell Press editorial and operations teams and contribute to publishing strategy.
