Elms College in Chicopee, MA invites applications for the Dean of the School of Nursing. The Dean provides strategic direction, oversees academic programs, accreditation, faculty development, and external partnerships to ensure the quality and integrity of nursing education.

The role leads budgeting, compliance with CCNE/MA BON, and efforts to recruit diverse faculty and students, while advancing scholarship and community engagement in line with the college mission.

Formación

• Doctorate in nursing or related field required; eligible for tenure-track appointment.
• Minimum five years of progressive academic or administrative experience in nursing education.
• Experience leading nursing programs, faculty development, and program assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for teaching and learning of the highest quality in the School of Nursing.
• Maintain and advance the quality of the School through visionary program development.
• Set annual SON goals aligned with the College’s mission and manage benchmarking and assessment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies (CCNE, MA BON, NONPF).
• Develop and implement evaluation plans to meet national standards and program outcomes.
• Oversee budget, resources, and external partnerships for the SON.
• Recruit, develop, and retain diverse faculty, staff, and students; promote teaching, scholarship, and service.
