Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks a Dean to serve as the principal academic and administrative leader of the School of Nursing. The Dean partners with executive leadership to advance mission, strategy, budgeting, staffing, curriculum, and program quality.

The role requires promoting excellence in teaching and fostering student success across healthcare education initiatives. The Dean will collaborate with stakeholders to align school strategies with workforce needs, ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required; doctorate preferred.
• Must have 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse to teach in clinical setting.
• Experience with budget planning, program development and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for School of Nursing aligned with the College’s mission and strategic plan.
• Recommend instructional policies, facilitate planning and keep faculty informed.
• Oversight of curriculum development, student success, and program quality.
