Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for the Dean of the Business School. The Dean will provide visionary leadership to advance business education and research at a premier technological university known for project-based learning that connects disciplines to societal needs.

The Dean reports to the Senior VP and Provost, guiding growth, enrollment, interdisciplinarity, and external partnerships while upholding academic integrity and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field (as required for appointment).
• Minimum of five years of leadership and administrative experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary, strategic, and operational leadership to advance the Business School.
• Oversee curriculum development, program review, accreditation, and faculty development.
• Develop and manage the budget and resources for the Business School (over $7M).
• Lead fundraising efforts, donor stewardship, and external partnerships.
• Represent the school in university committees and external forums.
