Job summary
The Y & H Soda Foundation seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the East Bay-based nonprofit, focusing on strategic growth, equity, and impact. The CEO will partner with the Board to advance programs, grantmaking and organizational development.
Ideal candidates bring deep nonprofit leadership experience, strong community relations, and a commitment to inclusive governance across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
Qualifications
- Seven years or more of senior level management experience in the philanthropic, nonprofit, government and/or private sector
- Deep knowledge in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties
- Experience across at least two strategic priority areas
- Experience building relationships with funders, grantees and community leaders
- Practical understanding of race, equity, diversity and inclusion principles
- Experience with board development, strategic planning and change management
- Master’s degree required or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a strong partnership with the Board to set strategies and policies
- Lead the development and implementation of the new strategic plan
- Oversee budget, finances, operations and organizational management
- Represent the Foundation to the public and key partners
- Drive compensation and benefits and uphold an inclusive workplace culture
