Job summary

Nipro Pharmapackaging Americas Corporation in Indiana seeks a skilled technician to operate and maintain vision inspection equipment. You will configure cameras and lighting, set parameters, and ensure accurate readings while documenting all changes in the system log.

You will train QA inspectors and vial technicians on vision system fundamentals, perform routine maintenance, and assist with electrical duties as needed, keeping a safe, clean work area and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Computer and math skills required.
• Experience with vision systems and calibration procedures.
• Must be able to perform electrical duties in plant when needed.
• Safety and lockout/tagout procedures must be followed.
• Willingness to be cross-trained as a mechanic.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up vision system parameters, cameras, and lighting.
• Maintain and clean vision equipment daily.
• Document all changes in the system log.
• Train QA inspectors, packers, and vial technicians.
• Perform electrical duties in the plant when required.
• Operate or assist with fork truck as needed.
• Review upcoming jobs and stage components.
• Input CMMS work orders.
• Ensure a neat, safe work area.
• Report changes to Production and Quality/ Maintenance Managers.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Cross-train as a mechanic for coverage.
• Support continuous improvements and safety.
