Job summary

Intellectt INC is seeking a Visual Inspection Engineer for on-site work in Rensselaer, NY to optimize vision systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on camera tuning and defect detection.

The contractor will support process validation, qualification activities, lifecycle documentation, and general project engineering for two new process lines during commissioning, in a GMP setting, with independent, proactive collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with automated vision inspection systems in pharma manufacturing.
• Hands-on camera tuning and optimization of inspection equipment.
• Experience with Seidenader, CoBER/CorBER, SVI, or similar systems.
• Strong GMP, process validation, and lifecycle documentation experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot vision systems and reduce false positives.
• Excellent independent work and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sit onsite 5x/week in Rensselaer, NY to optimize vision inspection equipment.
• Support process validation, qualification activities, and lifecycle documentation.
• Assist with commissioning of two new process lines across stages.
• Improve inspection accuracy and reduce rejects across defect types.
• Coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in GMP environment.
