Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Plant Vision Systems Supervisor to manage and optimize plant vision systems and Torus gauges, driving improvements in performance, quality, and cost. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with environmental and quality standards, and cross‑functional coordination.

You will lead a team in a manufacturing environment, implement SOPs, and partner with engineering and manufacturing to analyze vision system rejects and improve results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Job related experience for 1 year minimum in a leadership role.
• Job related experience for 5 years preferred.
• Ability to apply evaluation and adaptation of QA techniques.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure work environment and lead safety efforts.
• Develop, maintain, and improve the food safety system.
• Implement and support plant vision systems equipment and Torus gauges.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
• Lead improvement initiatives for vision systems and Torus gauges.
• Troubleshoot and drive corrective actions on vision systems.
• Participate in audits and upgrades of equipment.
• Lead training programs for plant vision systems staff.
• Ensure Torus gauges/equipment are calibrated on schedule.
• Follow SOPs and maintain effective working relationships.
