Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Plant Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the quality function, ensuring compliance with QA procedures and driving continuous improvement.

You will maintain inspection and complaint records, supervise QA activities, and coordinate with internal teams to uphold product quality and food safety standards; travel up to 25% may be required, and the role is on-site at our Indiana facility.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in a quality-related role with supervisory experience.
• Preferred knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and FSSC.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a quality-conscious attitude within the department.
• Maintains reports and evaluates product quality per QA procedures.
• Installs and maintains QA procedures.
• Establishes positive relationships across the company and manages stress.
• Leads quality assurance training and development programs.
• Supports development and maintenance of the food safety system.
• Oversees the food safety system's development, implementation, and review.
• Maintains inspection reports and addresses defects with corrective actions.
• Schedules inspection personnel for efficient manpower use.
• Oversees inspection and testing for compliance with specs.
• Ensures SOPs are followed for area responsibility.
• Maintains safe work environment and safety practices.
