Job summary
Amphenol ICC is seeking a Process Engineer - Vision Systems in Valley Green, PA to lead machine-vision and automated-inspection initiatives across CBS manufacturing sites. You will own vision-system readiness, develop scalable platforms, and guide deployment from prototype through ramp.
The role requires expertise in cameras, optics, lighting, 2D/3D sensing, AI/deep-learning inspection concepts, and integration with MES/automation. Travel ~30–50% globally is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Computer, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on machine-vision, automated inspection, metrology, or vision-system integration experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cameras, optics, lighting, 2D/3D sensing, image processing, and robust inspection systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as CBS global technical process owner for machine-vision and automated-inspection systems across sites.
- Define machine-vision technology roadmap and evaluate 2D/3D vision, AI/deep-learning inspection concepts.
- Develop robust vision solutions including cameras, lighting, algorithms, and integration with PLCs/automation.
