Job summary

Blount Fine Foods in Fall River, MA is seeking a Vision System Maintenance Technician for the Cup Pack out line. You will ensure continuous, trouble-free operation of Vision System machines and perform preventative maintenance.

This second-shift position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities to learn all aspects of the Vision System equipment and to train others in key adjustments. Responsibilities include daily maintenance, repairing breakdowns, proactive line

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience.
• Machine maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of all Vision System machines within the Cup Pack out department.
• Repair of any breakdowns during normal production.
• Proactive line adjustments, to prevent lost processing time.
• Continuous equipment preventative maintenance, to eliminate or minimize future processing downtime.
• Ability to learn all aspects of Vision System equipment, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments.

The pay range for this job is $22.00 to $22.55 per hour.

This position is second shift, 6pm start time.
Summary: Responsible for the continuous and “trouble free” running of the Vision System machines incorporated within the Cup Pack out processing department. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.

• Daily maintenance of all Vision System machines within the Cup Pack out department
• Repair of any breakdowns during normal production.
• Proactive line adjustments, to prevent lost processing time.
• Continuous equipment Preventative Maintenance, in order to eliminate or minimize future processing “down time”
• Ability to learn all aspects of Vision System equipment, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments.

Education and/or Experience:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Machine maintenance experience preferred.
