Job summary

The State University of New York College of Optometry in New York is seeking a full-time laboratory technician for its Biological Research Facility to support studies on eye development and ocular disease. The successful candidate will work with investigators to develop experimental models, collect and analyze data, and help maintain day-to-day lab operations.

A Bachelor's degree in science and strong organization and communication skills are required.

• Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently after training and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and data management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop experimental models and participate in eye development and ocular disease studies.
