Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5 years experience performing basic sampling, monitoring or research activities; compiling and collecting data and preparing reports required
• Associate's degree in Health Science, Biology, Chemistry or other science related field preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Performs complex laboratory assignments, planning and conducting experiments of limited scope or portion of a larger project.
• Leads tasks associated with research activities and lab support for lower-level technicians.
• Serves as unit operations liaison to ensure compliance with departmental or University policies, procedures, and defined internal controls.
• Ensures accountability and stewardship of University resources in compliance with departmental standards and procedures.
