Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Optician in Cross Roads, TX to drive eyewear sales in the Vision Center, assist customers with selections, measurements, and prescriptions, and maintain inventory and store standards.

You will supervise and develop Associates, uphold company policies, and participate in community initiatives while delivering customer-focused service and adhering to Walmart's pricing and service models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center with proper pricing and strong in-stock levels.
• Guide Associates on customer service to resolve inquiries per company standards.
• Support community outreach and encourage associates to serve customers and communities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance.
• Provide supervision and development for associates, including training and recognition.
• Assist customers in selecting products, taking measurements, and verifying prescriptions.
