Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Bowie, MD seeks a Vision Center Supervisor to drive sales through strong merchandising, accurate pricing, in‑stock and forecasting. You’ll lead Associates, model customer service, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while protecting assets and data.

You’ll develop talent, coordinate trainings, support open communication, and participate in community outreach and store initiatives to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales in the Vision Center with effective merchandising and pricing.
• Guides Associates on customer service to resolve issues per Company standards.
• Leads community outreach programs and promotes local goodwill.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for Vision Center operations.
• Provides supervision and development for Vision Center Associates.
• Ensures provision of quality eyewear through education, measurements and fittings.
• Maintains confidentiality of information and records.
• Promotes Open Door Policy and coordinates with stakeholders to meet goals.
• Develops action plans to improve performance and promotes continuous learning.
