Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will handle preliminary testing with ophthalmic equipment to prepare patients for exams and ensure accurate data collection.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year interacting with patients. Prior medical office or ophthalmic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Total Patient Experience and provide strong medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Maintain efficient scheduling and respect patient/doctor time.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual fields, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts for exams and equipment.
• Clean all examination equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Interact professionally with all staff and patients.
• Perform general office duties as assigned by manager.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and patient focus.
• Meet hours required by business needs, including potential weekend shifts.
