Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to assist ophthalmologists with initial testing and patient preparation for exams. The role emphasizes delivering the Total Patient Experience, handling equipment, and supporting a courteous, efficient clinic environment.

The position requires prior medical office exposure, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to meet scheduling needs, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow scripting for testing equipment and patient testing procedures.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and office duties as assigned by manager.
• Support a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
