Job summary

Visionworks is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager in New Jersey to lead the store in the absence of the General Manager and drive financial performance. You will coach staff, manage appointments, and ensure a seamless patient and customer journey from arrival to checkout.

The role emphasizes floor leadership, accountability, and providing development to associates to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote store profitability and sales goals by achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Model and guide Patient/Customer journey and supervise exam lane and sales floor.
• Assist GM by coordinating doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs.
• Coach and motivate associates to deliver excellent patient/customer experience.
• Resolve issues in patient/customer experience in partnership with GM.
• Execute broad operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
