LensCrafters in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support both retail and optometric functions. You will greet customers, explain services and products, and assist in frame and lens selection to fit lifestyle and budget.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sales skills, and accurate POS transactions while maintaining store standards and HIPAA-compliant record handling.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds and delivers LensCrafters Experience.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Assists customers in selecting frames and lenses for vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Operates the POS system for transactions with accuracy and proper payment handling.
• Maintains store appearance and ensures promotional materials are current.
• Handles patient records and HIPAA-compliant processes.
