Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in Maryland. You will be the face of the store, guiding patients through their eyewear journey with a simple, human approach and bold service.

You will combine optics knowledge with sales leadership to meet customer needs and drive store performance. The role emphasizes product expertise, customer engagement, and daily sales execution, with responsibilities spanning merchandising, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient service experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure best fit.
• Supports store operations: restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
