Job summary

Visionworks in Leonardtown, MD is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist – Lead/Sales Lead to be the welcoming face guiding patients through their eyewear journey. You’ll blend product knowledge with friendly service to meet each customer’s eye care needs.

The role emphasizes achieving daily sales goals, engaging customers, and ensuring accurate fitting and order fulfillment, while maintaining stock and merchandising to support store performance.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through contin. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
