Job summary

Visionworks in Joliet, IL is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of the store and guide customers through an optimized eyewear journey. You will apply optical knowledge, explain services, and lead customers toward the Right the First Time solution.

The role requires prior optical experience and licensure as needed, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care and meeting daily sales goals. This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
