Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through their eyewear journey with product knowledge and a warm, human touch.

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires optical experience or ABO certification, a HS diploma, and a passion for helping customers look and see great.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
