Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our Niles store, guiding patients through the eyewear journey with warmth and expertise.

You will drive daily sales goals, recommend eyewear solutions, and ensure the Right the First Time fit while maintaining strong product knowledge and outstanding service. This role requires charisma, excellent communication, and leadership to motivate team members and deliver an exceptional customer experience at Visionworks.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma/GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
