Job summary

Visionworks is hiring a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead in our retail stores. You will be the face of the brand, guiding customers through eyewear choices and the Visionworks experience with warmth and expertise.

You'll need about 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification, a high school diploma, and state licensing as required. The role is part-time with opportunities for bonuses and competitive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals through the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge; troubleshoots eyewear needs as necessary.
• Executes day-to-day store operations including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
