Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through eyewear selection with product knowledge and a friendly, human approach.

The role requires 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification, a high school diploma, and compliance with state licensure. You will drive sales, train teammates, and ensure the best patient journey from greeting to checkout.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including opening and closing the store as needed in LEAD positions only
