Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to act as the face of the store, guiding patients through an exceptional eyewear journey. You will leverage optical knowledge and customer service to meet eyewear needs and drive sales.

The role requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, a high school diploma, and state license compliance where applicable. Part-time hours and supportive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's goals including opening/closing in LEAD positions
