Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through eyewear choices and the Visionworks experience. You’ll apply optical knowledge, meet daily sales goals, and lead in-store interactions with a friendly, human, and bold approach.

The role requires prior optical experience and a license or ABO certification where required, with responsibility for sales, customer care, and basic store operations in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuing training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only
