Qualifications

• Must have a degree with major study in education or in optics or in pre‑med/biological sciences.
• Combination of progressive education courses and experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate instructional skills to explain difficult concepts to diverse learners.
• Engage students in class, lab, and office hours with collegial professionalism.
• Stay current with developments in instructional and pedagogical fields.
• Participate in curriculum committees, student advising, and retention efforts.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, records, and course materials aligned with objectives and policies.
• Create testing criteria and learning activities to evaluate student proficiency.
• Demonstrate technical writing skills for university-level reports.
