The New England College of Optometry in Boston invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position primarily as a laboratory instructor and vision screening instructor in the Patient Care I course.

The successful candidate will teach lab sections such as Principles and Practices of Optometry, Ocular Disease Procedures and Contact Lens, supervise first-year students in weekly screenings, and collaborate with the Instructor of Record and lab coordinators under the department

Formación

• OD degree preferred; MA licensure in progress acceptable
• Precepting experience desirable but not required
• Start date January 4, 2027; onboarding for school entry clearance

Responsabilidades

• Lead first-year students in weekly morning vision screening sessions at local Boston area schools
• Laboratory teaching assignments may include courses such as Principles and Practices of Optometry, Ocular Disease Procedures, Contact Lens
• Coordinate with the Instructor of Record for PCI and with lab coordinators, under supervision of the department chair
