Visionworks of America is seeking an OD Tech/Optometric Assistant for a part-time position. You will be the face of the exam practice, guiding patients through the first steps of their Visionworks experience with a friendly, human approach.

The role requires knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, and product/services awareness. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with related customer or patient service experience welcomed. Benefits include vision coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
• Will open/close the store/office to support business as needed
