Job summary

Westminster- Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is seeking a full-time Security role on our Virginia Beach campus. The position requires patrolling campus, assisting residents and visitors, and coordinating responses to emergencies using Third Eye Health software and other systems.

Flexible nights, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work across shifts are needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification.
• Current, valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible safety presence and assist residents, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Use security software and radios to document activity and coordinate responses.
• Respond to medical, fire, security, and weather emergencies following procedures.
• Enforce parking policies and document incidents as required.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems and report issues promptly.
