Job summary

GM Defense seeks a Virtual Performance Integration Manager to lead cross-functional virtual vehicle integration across development programs in a hybrid Warren/Milford, Michigan setting. You will drive full-program virtual development, balance performance across functions, and enable efficient architectures through simulation and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of cross-functional vehicle development experience.
• Experience with virtual development, CAE-based integration, and performance tradeoff management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle performance integration and subsystem interfaces.
• Ability to lead across teams and communicate complex technical issues clearly.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export control authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle and program virtual integration using simulation and synthesis.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering and validation.
• Identify and resolve CAE-driven issues with urgency.
• Support development plans, simulation workshare, and data readiness.
• Promote robust design practices and optimization in CAE.
