Job summary

The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles is seeking four undergraduate students to join a cohort of advisory fellows supporting the development of a new exhibition opening in 2029. Fellows will contribute to the exhibition content, design, and educational components, learning from interdisciplinary museum professionals.

Eligibility includes full-time undergraduates, residency in LA County or strong ties to LA, and interest in Jewish American culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and collaborate with others.
• Live or have lived in Los Angeles; LA experience is essential to the story and audience.

Responsibilities

• Advisor—join a small cohort of undergraduate students and advisors to contribute to the exhibition content and educational components.
• Professional Development Training—participate in workshops to lead peer-to-peer feedback sessions with focus group audiences.
• Facilitation—co-facilitate selected focus groups and gain facilitation experience.
