Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry in a 100% virtual role. The schedule features four days of 10 hours each, enabling flexible work-life balance while maintaining high-quality patient care.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions, contributing to a patient-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed or eligible for Texas licensure.
• Training or strong interest in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry.
• Licensed in Texas and willing to reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, or Georgia.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual care setting.

• Help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
