Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a PRN Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. This position is 100% virtual and requires 2–5 shifts per month.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs. Licensure in Texas or eligibility to practice in TX, WA, FL, LA, or GA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with active US license.
• Experience in hospital/ER settings preferred.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Provide psychiatric consultation and treatment via virtual platform.
• Collaborate with medical colleagues to coordinate care.
