Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a PRN Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. This position is 100% virtual and requires 2–5 shifts per month.

The successful candidate will lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and emergency department patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses. Licensed in Texas and residing in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, or Georgia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with US license desired.
• Eligible to practice in Texas.
• Consult-Liaison or Emergency psychiatry experience preferred.
• PRN/flexible schedule accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
• Provide telepsychiatry services remotely.
