Qualifications

• Professional experience preparing U.S. individual income tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of Form 1040 and common tax situations.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable high-speed Internet and professional Zoom setup.
• Ability to teach concepts to beginners.
• Dependable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live and interactive Zoom classes.
• Explain U.S. tax concepts in a simple, beginner-friendly way.
• Provide practical examples and mock tax returns.
• Assign and review homework and practice exercises.
• Administer quizzes and assessments.
• Answer student questions and provide coaching.
• Track attendance, participation and progress.
• Evaluate students on accuracy, tax knowledge, communication, professionalism and coachability.
• Provide management with a final evaluation of each student's readiness for potential employment.
