Job summary

Fullmind is seeking a New York State certified SWD educator to join our remote 1099 contract pool. You can select openings that match your certification within our district partnerships, with immediate starts based on placement availability.

This fully remote, 1099 role pays an hourly rate of $33–$38 and requires active US work authorization. Prior online teaching is a plus, and a background check is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State Student with Disabilities certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.

Responsibilities

• Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on.
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies.
• Track student grades and performance.
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings.
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students.

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background checkas part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
