Job summary

Sylvania online program seeks an Online/Virtual Student Mentor EA to support 6-12 students with Edgenuity, under the guidance of teachers certified in each course.

You will contact students who are not progressing, answer questions about online courseware, launch assignments and assessments, and assist with enrollment and attendance tracking. Start ASAP for the 2026-27 school year, at $15.45/hour, Mon-Fri, 7:30 am–4:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Support 6-12 students with online learning utilizing the Edgenuity program and be supported by teachers certified in each course through Imagine Learning.
• Contacting students who are not making progress
• Answer student or parent questions about online courseware
• Launch assignments, activities, and assessments in the online portal
• Help online principal with any specific requests
• Assist with the enrollment process
• Assist in monitoring attendance and grading reporting
• Monitor course completion
• Coordinate with building principals for grading and scheduling requirements
• Monitor student progress
• Help monitor truancy of students; work with principal and district safety director to ensure that students are located
• Coordinate with high school staff to submit course completions
• Ensure attendance is accurate for count days
